Locally grown AND locally milled, Transitionally-grown Buckwheat Flour from Camas Country Mills.
The grain is grown in Junction City, Oregon at the Huntons' Farm, a third generation family farm. The farm is Food Alliance Certified and the grain is grown with organic practices without chemical sprays, pesticides or fungicides.
The grain is stone ground into flour at Camas Country Mill in North Eugene which is Oregon Tilth Organic and Food Alliance Certified. The milling process does not heat the grain or flour- keeping the volatile oils and nutritional benefits intact, thus making this a raw product. Best to keep stored in cool conditions.
