Grown on Hunton’s Farm in Junction City, Oregon, our Hard Red Wheat is pesticide free. This third-generation family farm is one of the first in the Willamette Valley to transition grass seed acreage to grains and beans.
Stone ground at Camas Country Mill (CCM) in Eugene, this flour is made in small batches to retain optimal freshness. The slow milling process does not heat the grain or flour, so the nutritional benefits of the Hard Red Wheat remain intact. CCM is a family-owned mill that is Oregon Tilth Organic Certified.
This Hard Red Wheat makes an ideal flour for baking breads or muffins. As with all whole grain flours, our Hard Red Wheat Flour is best stored in the freezer or refrigerator until ready to use.
